Rebbetizen Devorah Leah Twerski ZT"L Of Blessed Memory

This year marks the 10th anniversary yartzeit of Rebbetizen Devorah Leah Twerski ZT"L. On Sunday the 29th of Sivan 5756 (June 16th 1996) she returned her soul to her maker. She was almost 96 years old. As the matriarch of the Twerski Family and the Rebbetizen of the CBJ community, she left us with many precious memories. At this 10th anniversary we have gathered together this memorial tribute to the Rebbetizen. We have collected for you the hespedim delivered by her surviving sons and have made available the 1996 special edition of the Congregation Beth Jehudah Bulletin that commemorated her passing with reminiscences, poetry and transcripts of the hespedim for your enjoyment. We have also created a memorial photo gallery of the Rebbetizen and her family members for your enjoyment and remembrances. Rebbetizen Leah as she was known raised 5 very successful sons pictured below.
